Following two recent attacks on Jews in New York/Jersey, The Black Hebrew Israelites are getting some media attention.

They are an African American group who believe that they, and not modern jews, are the descendants of the biblical Israelites. Mad stuff altogether.

That reminds me of how some Ulster Scots believe they were the original Ulstermen. They really had to dig deep and twist things around, I can't remember exactly what the story is but it was something about the Cruthin tribe being pushed out of modern county Antrim 2000 odd years ago and then the 1600s planters were them coming back to their homeland 1500 years later.

This is it. Something I found out a few years ago is that the people who write the Irish history wikipedia pages are actually unionists, this is why they always use County Londonderry on it. I had many arguments with them on it in the past when they refused to let me change Catholic celebrities nationality to Irish, they kept changing it back to "actor from Northern Ireland". This angered me greatly because they allowed unionist celebrities to be called Northern Irish but Catholics weren't allowed to be called Irish even whn you have proof that they view themselves as Irish.

There's a lot of tension between some African American and Jewish communities in NY lately. Some of it has to do with gentrification and the buying up of homes and pushing out blacks from traditional black communities. Some of it has to do with the Internet turning up previously little known information about slave ownership and especially the ownership of slave transport ships.

It was the headline story on the Guardian and other outlets until the ethnicity of the attacker was revealed, then it disappeared of the front page completely.

You're right, the latest wasn't some greasy white kid shooting up a church, it was a black man shooting up a church. He shot two people before being swiftly taken out by a single shot to the head by a pensioner who happened to be carrying.
Unsurprisingly this did not make the news.

I don’t think it’s funny. Why do you think it’s funny? What does it matter to you what colour either the assailant or the victims are? Some of you libs are obsessed with this. The assailant in the NY Hannukah incident is black the victims are Jews in Texas the assailant is white and one of the victims is white. This is completely wrong or 'fake' as the white wing like to say.
The church had armed volunteer security as is legal in Texas. One of them shot the attacker. Some parishioners were armed too, which is also legal there.
Not that it matters the shooter, Keith Thomas Kinnunen, was white.
Another lone Wolfe, blame video games and porn scenario. Christians, religion of peace my arse....
