It's slightly ambiguous, read it again.
It means if Salah took the shot he'd get an assist for that

It’s such a tough call.

I’ve Salah and TAA.

Adding Robertson would be so much easier. And Liverpool showed tonight, after they scored, that they were happy to engage in game management.

It’s as hard a call as I remember. That DGW could have a huge impact on the season.

If mane scored from a Salah attempt which was saved.. then it would be an assist

It was Mane's shot that was saved. Mane would get the assist if that was allowed. As you can't assist your own goal, no assist awarded.

Not clear but definitely no assist. That rule only comes into play if the save is from a different player from the goalscorer annoyingly! But wouldn't be the first time they gave into peer pressure lol!

Mane has missed 1 league game this season
TAA has played every game
Salah has missed 3 - but he was injured for a bit

So basically their 3 best players have played all over xmas without rotation - yet you think Liverpool can afford to rest lads?

Look at their bench today:

Phillip, Jones, Elliot, Williams - how many games in league have they got between them?

Liverpool can'f afford to rest their big guns, because the league isn't won, the 3 lads will start every game until the league is wrapped up.

But it's ok for posters to constantly post and put the fear into posters that they will be rested etc, yet when I put an argument against them being rested I'm the one attacked?

The pass to Mane would have counted as a big chance created so that probably made a big difference given the bps is relatively low. He will no doubt drop off later.

I'm gonna leave him but I had Tammy and got Bobby in for a hit. Tammy has returned both games since and Bobby blocks me getting in Salah as I have a full Liverpool compliment.

The trolling wasn’t about Liverpool players being rested. It was the notion that Liverpool could lose one game or even two and somehow be under pressure. You were talking about them losing games and taking three points off them for each game FFS. Liverpool lose two games and they are still 10 points clear
