i don't think it was a actually a mistake. hindsight is just 20/20.

he played 11 minutes against Wolves, scored against Sheffield Utd, and there's an FA Cup game at the weekend. my logic would've assumed he'd start this game to get into some sort of rhythm.

Yeah maybe a 2nd game in 4 days after a full 90 mins was too much for him. Hoping he'll get at least 20 minutes.
