Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Got Chelsea/United double at a little over 8/1

Well the first part is safe !!!!

As bad as Everton are, Chelsea are looking a different side here today. Happy Gilmour effect? He's taken to the big stage like a duck to water.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

The enforced transfer ban on Chelsea could be the best thing to happen to them in years. So many players performing now that wouldn't have got the chance otherwise. A good transfer window in the summer could really set them up for a push.

This what I want to see from Liverpool if there are 3/4 games as a freebie - play the kids and see what happens.

  • BBC have a hand in making Pickford one of the most overrated goalkeepers of all time

He's desperate and so were Everton in general today

It's good to have the old Everton back. I've missed them

You could have at least given us the old Everton last week but noooo, up for the game against Utd of course :/

Wouldn't mind but I fancied our changes against that Chelsea team. Surprised at the spanking.

End of our season now. Unless we miraculously manage to get a Europa spot.

    Good bantz

At least the Liverpool fans see it

Ole at the wheel though, it's all good

I do expect a decent performance today however, these players surely can get motivated for it

No Idea but I just have some mad feeling United win.

I've backed them at 4.50 probably p1ssing money away.

Aguero made Maguire look silly there.

Hard to remember a Manchester derby that mattered less. Even in a few of the match ups in the 80s, at least City were fighting relegation or there was some significance.

    Anyway...it's great.

Not sure how you can say that considering United are Inna top 4 battle.

Maguire really has a Razor Ruddock, Julian Dicks vibe coming off him.

How did Martial not play in Bruno Fernandes there. Was a free shot on goal.

Martial would do your head in. Such a myopic player.

    Is KDB injured?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,736 ✭✭✭Bleating Lamb

Definite goal there if Martial played it back to Fernandes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,191 ✭✭✭✭Shanotheslayer

Fernadino for all his fouls never gets a yellow.

Bruno dives and he gets booked haha

    Martial 1-0

Lovely goal, but Ederson's done a De Gea there.

Do they check offside's anymore unless they are really clear cut.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,348 ✭✭✭✭ricero

Dreadful from Ederson. Clear to see why hes number 2 to Alisson for Brazil.

Fair play to Utd, they are playing well.

For the United goal? Martial was well onside, the defensive line was all over the shop.

It's genuinely amazing how much he gets away with it in games.

I’m sure they will spend 5 mins on MOTD tonight on the city players surrounding the ref. Unless of course this is only discussion worthy when man united do it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

Never a foul, awful goalkeeping and a defence that's asleep. City will whinge but they only have themselves to blame there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

It definitely shouldn't have been a free kick, but City should concentrate on the defending it rather than making excuses about it.

    Would you rather

    A) Celebrate your team score
    B) Give out about MOTD

Same with Chelsea game earlier. They dont show the line anymore. It's not a utd thing dont worry, I want them to win. I just noticed it's all done very quick lately.

Hardly need to show the line when it's clear that he's onside.

Bruno is looking a serious addition to this United team from what I've seen from him

Surely they would have been in for him already before he moved to United if he's that good?

Even a broken clock tells good time once a day, after squandering hundreds of millions it would appear utd have finally stumbled upon a genuinely good midfielder, i console myself knowing they will still need to upgrade 7 or 8 of those players to get within an ass's roar of the league next year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

    Well that's a penalty.
