Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. City have thrown in the towel. Just going through the motions here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

And then after deciding it wasn't a foul, they go back and give Everton a freekick for the offside that VAR proved was onside.

That sounds like an on field ref **** up.

At least this Var is consistently ****

How was that a peno for Noble? He kicked the ground ffs.

Even though City are going through the motions you’d feel it’s only a matter of time before they score.

Would be great if Calvert Lewin could do a trademark bundle a mis hit shot over the line but Everton aren’t creating much.

Mourinho went off on one about the Southampton goalkeeper coach in his post match press conference. Guaranteed to get all the headlines tomorrow now instead of how inept his side are. Deflect, deflect, deflect.

    Typical mourinho

With Kane gone with hamstring - I think mourinho will be knocking on Levy’s door for funds

Did he say what it was he supposedly did to anger him? From what I saw he went over and gave out to a guy that was writing on a pad and not even looking at him.

The bournemouths players back leg catchs Nobles leg and then he kicks the ground. Certainly looked like a very obvious over reaction from Noble but can't argue too much with that being given as a penalty. Being caught on the leg like that was clearly going to impede him.

People go on about him being past it and stale but to his credit he looks to have streamlined the whole Mourinho process down from 3 seasons to about 3 months by cutting out stage 1 and 2 and going straight to the trademark 3rd season.

Maybe city should like Liverpool players and take the ball on the shoulder instead of the arm, because they werent going to get a peno anyway.

Would you not be better off getting annoyed that the players keep being offside? The first one wasnt even close.

The 2nd one the linesman flagged for and was a handball anyway.

Lovely from Jesus. Perfect touch to take it away from the defender and then curls it past Pickford, though Pickford did get a hand to it just not enough

Didn't take long for Jose to revert to type.

Arsenal have been almost pegged back by the bottom 6. Big game for them tonight.

    City 2-0 Jesus strikes twice.

Everton's revival is over for the moment. Still they'll have a decent chance against Liverpool in the FA Cup.

Why did ndombele go off after 25 mins, was he injured? Or has jose found his shaw

There was a clash of knees with Djenepo 10 mins earlier and the comms noticed him limping a few minutes before going down. He seemed to indicate it might be his groin though.

Interestingly the co commentator did suggest he was overweight

Gold and Sullivan will probably still sack him in the summer and try for a sexier name.

Haha Bravo. Nice bit of skill with the ball but then passes to an Everton player and they concede :D

    Tis.

Only 4 points ahead of the bottom 3, only Watford have won fewer games all season (Assuming Norwich close out this Palace win).
Not for a second suggesting they'll be relegated, they are too good, and there are a lot of weaker squads around them, but at the same time they have been shocking all season. Lots of work for Arteta to so, and he'll have a few grey hairs on that lovely dark bonce before he's finished. He'll get them competing with the top 6 soon enough, but will Kronke give him the backing to compete for titles.... that remains to be seen.

Are Bournemouth running out of road. Small club with a small following, have spent a lot of money on poor players over the years, and still have the likes of Cook and Francis featuring from their League 1 days. Not naturally a top level club, be interesting to see if they are going to revert to the mean soon.

Howe's eye for a player is terrible since they came up, the good new names are academy or loans. When big money has been spent it's a near wipeout bar Ake

Thought my stream was stuck on a loop with Sidibe and Davies tapping it to each other. Not like they’re chasing an equaliser or anything.

No he was rested for the last game according to Ole as he’s just back.

Ole literally said yesterday or the day before that he was in contention for the Arsenal game. Now all of a sudden he’s out for a few weeks.

    It’s farcical.

United should run him and his agent out of town. Pure poison.

He’s absolute poison at the club. Throw his agent in as well.

The thing is, for all his talent he’s been poor at Utd overall.

We are very short on creative players but this lad hasn’t produced, causes more problems than he solves and is making a show of Ole and the club.

Ehhhh, he was in the Europa league team of the season 3 years ago, it's not his fault he had Jose stifling his creative spirit. Then Ole came in and couldn't get anything much of anything out of him, that's clearly Oles fault. Now these injuries, clearly the fault of the United medical team.
