Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In yet another brilliant FF managerial move I benched him. Following on from benching Traore last weekend and captaining Vardy I'm on some run. Must captain De Bryune next week.

    Deeney for Watford.

Edit: Harry Wilson put Bournemouth 1 up as well.

Really hope you didn't captain Salah.

A 3rd gone in? The 2nd was given as a Groß OG.

Flashscore has it down as Callum Wilson, but think it's being reviewed for who scored the goal.

I posted it above. If City where in this exact same situation Liverpool fans would say the season is over

Of course... City have a recent history of winning leagues when they're ahead. We have a recent history of not winning leagues when we're ahead.

As I said over the weekend, that was the first time it finally felt like it was safe enough now. Still though, plenty of time for celebrations when the team can celebrate too. Will quite happily enjoy the procession, and save the full catharsis for the right time.

Mane, I dropped Salah a few weeks back and he improved. I feel like I'm having some kind of impact on what's happening.

Would have been some goal for Chelsea if mustafis balls didn't get in the way, looked a sore one!

Luiz & Mustafi should just f**k off at this stage. Pair of clowns.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,089 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

Hopefully both Bournemouth & Southampton can see our their leads. I like both managers. And it's nice to see clubs back their managers instead of sacking instantly.

Sheffield United play like Ireland want to be able to. Very impressive to be honest.

Man City haven't not scored in an away game since 2018 though so we know what's coming

Edit: and goal goes in. Aguero. Goodnight.

Nearly a City-esque goal from Sheffield there

2 defenders with just Aguero there and neither of them near him.

Haven't scored in an away game since 2018? Or do you mean 19?

Same for his header v Palace only striker in the box and know one near him, His movement is just magic though

Was meant to be the other way around i'd say - hadn't Not scored in an away game since then.

City players getting away the niggly fouls while Sheff Utd players get blown up by the ref when they do it.

Sure they seem to ref it now too

this is what happens when you ignore the rule of jinx, there'll have to be an investigation you know, your liverpool status will need to be reviewed

As things stand Arsenal are 6 points off relegation and 35 points off first. What an awful season they're having.

Arsenal lose tonight and they are right in the relegation battle.

Hard not to laugh at Everton.

Newcastle with 3 injury time goals in 2 games for 4 points.

Yep exactly, I typed it wrong. City have scored in every away game in the league going back to 2018 v Chelsea.

    Impressive.

They have Spurs, Leicester, Arsenal and United in the next 5 games. Big statement if they can win all of those

Bruce doing some job at Newcastle considering he would have been a big favorite to get the sack at the start of the season.

    Martinelli. Unreal.

Bad mistake by Kante. I forgot Lacazette was playing until he showed up in the celebration.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,926 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

    Great goal by Martinelli.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,023 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Funnilly enough the goal Martinelli's most reminds me of is Salah's one against Arsenal a few years ago. From a corner, defensive mistake inside Arsenals half, and Salah ran 3/4 of the length of the field, with a beautiful calm finish at the end of it.

Their forward Yannick Bolasie, on loan as Sporting, got a straight red card in the Portuguese cup game at the same time tonight.

Everton are like Father Larry Duff. Tremendous fun, and a disaster everytime you look at them.

Googled the score. Just the 4 reds in that game, a 2-1 win for Braga.

Which keeper are Everton buying in the summer to replace Pickford?

Which promoted team are buying Pickford?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Don't really see how that Chelsea goal stands, Abraham is in an offside position and literally has to dodge the ball to not touch it, he's 100% interfering with play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,023 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Some finish, and some finish to the game!
