Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Jurgen Klopp named PL manager of the month for a 5th time this season, out of 6 months. He has set a new record for MOTM wins a single season.

Aguero wins PL player of the month. It is his 7th time winning player of the month, which is the most of all time, overtaking Gerrard & Kane.

How many votes did Lingard get for YPTY?

Any chance you could use contrasting colours. Very hard to make out which is which

I wonder who'd win a vote for Manager of the year? I bet it'd be close between Klopp and Ole (all the opposition fans voting for him to keep him in the job).

I'd vote for Gimli. He's done an amazing job on his FF team this season!! If you have a player he's buying in you get rid of them straight away.

I used hard reset my pc in work anytime I had a bad result on FM and eventually broke it. I had to pretend I didn't know what happened.

    Give it Giggsy.

Glancing the Bundesliga for several pages, one poster regularly bemoaned the ridiculousness of Dortmund's injuries for most of Klopp's season. And that most Dortmund fans wanted Klopp to remain, even in spite of the possibility of relegation which many Dortmund fans rubbished.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,262 ✭✭✭✭y0ssar1an22

Poty lost all credibility when it was awarded to giggs. Possibly before that?

Jordan is now favorite. I backed mane 2 weeks ago at evens, he's now 3rd favorite I think. What the hell happened in that time to elevate Jordan?

I suppose it's all perception, fuelled by the media

Mane is out injured and as far as I'm aware there's no return date being given yet. Henderson scored two and had two assists in the last three games.

Much more to his game than goals and assists though. It's just those have brought a bit more attention to him.

I suppose I better check my cash out. Way down I presume.

He's high quality of course, but the best player in the league this season? Surely not.

Having said that, it's refreshing that it's not been confined to top scorer or assister, if that's a word. For the most part

How much have you watched of Henderson this year?

Getting recognition recently because of the goals and assists but has been great all season. The game against Sheffield United at home springs to mind for me - felt like there was 2 of him on the pitch.

Injury has damaged Mane’s chances. Henderson or VVD for POTY for me.

City with a chance tomorrow to close the gap to 19 points for a week, will Liverpool be able for that pressure ?

More pressure on Pep I'd say to win a match.:)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,348 ✭✭✭✭ricero

Pep hasn't seemed right since their loss at anfield earlier in the season. He seems like a man on the edge and under huge pressure.

I reckon if City were to go out to Madrid in the champions league he could end up leaving early.

He doesn't seem like a man with the hunger of overseeing a rebuild.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,409 ✭✭✭✭gimli2112

Pep's incredibly competitive, he'll want to get back on top and has everything he needs at City to do it, if he leaves it's because he fears we're better than we think we are, which is unlikely

If they win this Everton up to 7th.

They have to play 5 of the big 6 in their next 6 games. That will give a better indication.

Its actually quite clever from the Marketing boys in the EPL . . Basically split up the fixtures and you can show football each weekend but every team gets a 2 week break . .

Everton v Palace might as well be part of the winter break.

Holy smoke - Christian Benteke has scored for the first time since April 2019

Pickford is so bad, how is he the England keeper?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,612 ✭✭✭eigrod

    Pickford is useless. Absolutely useless.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,496 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

    Terrible by Pickford.

    Funny though
