Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ball not played forward for a offside, and the players foot was in the air that was called off, running in the opposite direction for a offside..that's a fckin terrible decision/rule imo.

What did Jose do to his head that buzz cut is mental.

They need to really change the rules. In this case, if ball moves away from goal, cant be offside (watch now as example can be made to show that would be just as ridiculous)

A fairly pathetic use of VAR for the goal and an awful defence of it from Walton on BT.

IFAB meeting...it is what it is...law has to change to fit technology.

More dropped points. Leicesters title challenge faltering. :)

Sheff Utd still in pole position for the final Champions League spot ;)

Wolves have probably lost most points to narrow VAR offsides than any other. They also seem to be prone to missing match winning sitters.

Doesn’t matter if the ball was played forward or not. It’s where he is relative to the ball. And I’m not sure what his foot being in the air has to do with anything?

So City get stripped of all there there titles since the Oil men took them over that would mean.

Man Utd have two more titles Fergie and Jose and Liverpool would have two more titles Rodgers and Klopp.

Not going to happen much as many might want it to.

    Poor Ings fecked up there...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Massive brain fart from Ings, McCarthy was questionable too.

Hassnehuttl looks disgusted skill, if ings goes for a run on the wing he’ll be getting a funt up the hole.

    That was a penalty

That handball has been given by VAR in other games.

VAR again showing to be a total joke.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,609 ✭✭✭TheCitizen

I thought that was a penalty given the recent rules on handball. Massive grey area in England especially with this.

Ings is a really likeable player. Southampton getting great value for money out of signing him.

Is it fair to say his goals have kept them up this year already?

    Boring game this

Norwich should be ahead from what I've seen. A terrible pass to leave Pukki in on goal gave Alisson a much better chance to get the ball, which he did comfortably

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,366 ✭✭✭✭8-10

Alisson is incredible. What a player

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

mignolet and karius would both have given away a peno in that situation

Alisson has conceded less league goals than Claudio Bravo this season. Bravo has only played 4 games!

I think Alisson has saved 55 of the last 57 shots he has faced (tbc).

    2 mad stats.

Indeed, two lads handling van dijk in the box and no penalty given.

Correct. Liverpool probably should have had a pen there.

And there we go, shove by Mane, goal given, I'm not even surprised at this stage.

If Salah went down like that defender I’d love to see the reaction from the 2 lads :pac:

Lol if that is a foul Liverpool should have had two pens and there were no VAR checks for them
