Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Don’t be surprised if this is one of the last few EPL weekends for awhile . Once the Coronavirus is officially confirmed in uk we could see the rest of the season suspended.

id say they'll play games behind closed doors if it gets very bad

there is not a more unlucky club than Liverpool. 1st title in 30 years & a pandemic ruins it

just when we had the league won Utd create a plague in the UK by signing a player from China, typical

From a hypothetical POV they might have to just wrap league up as is with Pool as champs. The CL would just be suspended for this year. Might even be a late start to next season and I could see maybe league and FA cup cancelled or minimized as the window for fixtures is limited.

Serie A Games cancelled because 80 infected, it’s only going to get worse before it evens out and then it will take time before lockdown measures are relaxed. Big shock on the way to all.. No need to panic but interesting times ahead

I was thinking that but if there is full lockdown it will mean no games at all. Players , Managers, Coaches, Medical staff can pass it onto each other And their own families. Will players want to take the risk of infection for a game of football? Will clubs want to risk squad infections! There are so many factors to this

How would relegated clubs accept that though.

Just say 30 games get played before disruption.

Now way they would accept being relegated

They wouldn’t have a choice. The alternative is that everything is suspended until next season. Might actually take that long before games are allowed to take place again depending on how this plays out

No Euro 2020, Copa America, AFCON and the Olympic will all done. The players will be well rested for next season if that starts or we will all be dead.

I probably should have said he's been pressured fairly quickly so seems to be rushing his touches and passes so not really his fault.

    What happened to decoure?

Looked good at the start of the season, now looks like the stereotype brainless athletic player

Im guessing this is the kind of game the hope is that ighalo can maybe bring something different if things aren’t working out.

Well worked by united before the peno, by by golly this game is tedious, time for the rugby me thinks

Already on the way down there before the challenge came? Need to see it again.

    Jota scored for Wolves.

Edit: looks a bit like the Sterling v Spurs one?

Looks like Watford needed to time their bounce a bit better. Mind you they aren't dead just yet.

    16 AFC Bournemouth 27 7 5 15 26 43 -17 26

That VAR decison sees Utd go joint top of the VAR table with Brighton on a score of +7.

Has he been moved off the wing? Can't see the second half.

I am afraid somebody else will have to answer that, I am actually doing some work while watching in backround. :(

Greenwood has some amount of goals this season for the amount of minutes he has played.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,306 ✭✭✭✭Drumpot

    Special player

    Same with Bruno

Bruno is like a breath of fresh air. I think its helping Fred aswell who seems to be really growing into a central midfield role. Matic also benefitting from a consistent MF partner. . Really is looking relatively better then it did back in October. November to now has been pretty decent.

The majority have been crackers too

    That's a stretch

It's been inconsistent to acceptable at best

Bruno in the short time frame has made a huge difference I agree

For me Fred has been Utds best player for quite some time and takes some over the top criticism

Looks an excellent prospect probably wouldnt have got much gametime if Lukaku was still around. Might be a case that the benefits of that decision are seen in future years.

I agree about Fred (playing well for sometime) , I just think Bruno has helped even more.

They've been using Arrowe Park hospital In the Wirral as an isolation unit for a few weeks now so no surprise in this.

Is that not not a high foot from Calvert-Lewin? What exactly is the rule there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,388 ✭✭✭✭TitianGerm

Fancy Everton to get something today. Should be a fair few goals anyway.

Edit: DCL scores as I'm typing.

Just cancel the season, and put an X beside the winners in the history books. That's my suggestion anyway.

Not since 2015. There's actually an award for it each year.

I've only just put this on after having my head in my hands watching Ireland, that was cowardly goalkeeping by Leno.

The UK containment centre is in the Wirral, so everyone who is suspected of having it goes there.

Only seen 20 odd mins of this Arsenal Everton game. Horrible keeping Leno. Class cross Saka. There's more goals in this game yet
