Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Somebody throw up a team sheet. Childish crap since that Watford result last night is even more irritating than usual

Boards search is handy. Google search is gonna blow your mind!

Fully stand by my comments quoted there by the way. Single loss yesterday doesn't change anything.

No issues with searching for them if you so choose

    The loss yesterday changes everything.

    Apparently.

It means that the all conquering liverpool clearly arent as capable as the invincible Arsenal side.

I wonder what else they're not capable of?

I remember all those years of getting small wins where possible - whenever utd or arsenal were getting schooled in europe, beating them in the 'ah sure its their cup final' matches, random losses to relegation fodder. Dont worry lads...i know how you feel. Let the bitterness get you through the day!

There's nothing common enough in all those search results.. what term could you search for to get those results?

    Nah, they're saved alright.
    Never change.

Andre Gomes back from a nasty broken leg injury in what seems like quick time. That's some recovery to be back starting a PL game. Certainly puts a certain midfielder from his opposition team today to shame.

How does Thursday night affect the invincible team?

If its current teams and form youre talking about then Arsenal have had one defeat in 2020, liverpool have had two in two weeks.

Already answered that, I think there up there for sure, as I said previously it's impossible to rank when you get to that stage but there's a group of teams that are the best I've seen and this is one of them - https://touch.boards.ie/thread/2058041852/96/#post112226789

Pep's Barça were only 2 years removed from winning La Liga when he took over and had Messi in the team.

He did an unbelievable job and had a lasting impact on modern football with what he achieved with them.

But as a team I think this Liverpool team are up there with what they're doing right now.

Remember this is a team that haven't won a league in 30 years and have gotten to back to back CL finals, world club champions and 22pt lead by March in the league.

That context is important. This isn't a club who regularly win leagues, it's a club who regularly don't win leagues. That's why I personally believe I'm witnessing something remarkable this year.

Faded badly over the last two or three years. Miles behind Ederson and Alisson now.

Edit: here's the mistake for those who didn't see it.

He's top scorer in the league since Ancelotti came in with 8 goals. I need to eat some humble pie after saying he was crap at the start of the season.

How much is he on per week?

I wouldn't exactly goal him a good footballer myself but he's always in a good position as a striker so can't ask for much more currently!

The contract given to DDG would suggest that United see him as the long term goalkeeper and not Henderson, who is performing better this season.

Spurs winning as well. Bergwin with his second of the season.

Yeah Henderson looks good alright. They'll be fine in the long run de Gea is definitely one of the better keepers in the league but it's funny to see him make a mistake like that.

Conflicting news for Irish right backs as Coleman goes off injured and Matt Doherty scores

Bit of both? Good strike but you'd expect Pickford, or a decent keeper, to get a hand to it.

    Utd bullying the ref.

Spurs and Wolves 2 apiece, Traore dislocated elbow (?) but carrying on.
