Excellent job running this Kolido, ticking away very smoothly even if some terrible choices have already been made. :p Many thanks.

Oh what's that you say Necro? '90's tunes? Well you won't have to wait too long to hear some awesome '90's tunes (plus plenty more from other decades), when my super amazing Walrus game starts up! :D If anyone reading here hasn't sent an entry yet, please do - submissions will close soon (max 20 entries, there were 13 last time I checked but hoping to get a few more in).

*Thanks for giving me the way in I needed for a shameless plug.

Listening to these for the first time.

I'll go for Wang Chung, as I quite like the instrumentation on it, and Landscape for the sheer "what the absolute fúck did I just watch"-ness of it. The other two didn't leave much impression on me.

Showing my age, but I'd rather go the other direction: the 70s is my favourite decade.

    Landscape because it was shorter.

    That puts Landscape 5-2 ahead

    Wang won 6-3 earlier

Jesus Christ. Had never heard either of those songs before and both will probably haunt me for ever now. I’ll vote for Landscape just to move on. Two dreadful songs, at least one of which was trying to be punk I think, whatever genre they were...****e.

Great thread btw, no complaints here. Amazing to have so many oldschool classics rejigging my brain.

I really miss the charts and knowing what number 1 is.

    B sides .

Einstein A Go Go by Landscape and Dance Hall Days by Wang Chung are two great quirky songs from the early '80s. I already placed my votes by the way! These two acts would have been considered new wave or alternative at the time. In the late 1980s,Wang Chung had another more mainstream-sounding hit with Everybody Have Fun Tonight.

I meant the Jenny 2 thing and Landscape. I’d have voted for Wang Chung if still open

I actually didnt mind the Jenny song tbh, thought the Einstein thing was awful claptrap.

But had voted anyways and don't really care, neither are gonna win I'd imagine.

867-4309/Jenny by Tommy Tutone was a big American tune from the 1980s. It did get some airplay around these parts but I have not heard it for years. I thought it was okay.
