Many officials claim the letter is authentic

Which officials ,they took out Iran's military leader and publicly boasted about it ,but yet deny sending a letter seems at odds with the current narrative.

Classy American foreign policy at its finest.

Iraq is richer now than it was ever under Saddam with steady economic growth since 2003. The war and occupation has actually been good for Iraq. Otherwise they’d be still rotting under Saddam or one of his lunatic sons. But hey don’t let that get in the way of your left wing rubbish. You probably have a Che Guevara poster in your room and think countries like Venezuela and Cuba have it right.

Well then you know nothing about life in Iran then.

Hint.... It is not a free society.

To be fair. You shown a staggering level of ignorance yourself.

You'd be happy with missiles hitting Doonbeg then and killing Irish people going about their work and guest's?

I doubt Doonbeg would be high on the target list, but if Trump was there yes the Iranians would be justified to try and hit his convoy on the way in or out just as the Yanks did to Gen. Soleimani at Baghdad airport. If that bastard Trump was in a room where I could get at him with a gun I'd happily shoot the bastard myself, whatever the consequences!

Hint - it’s nothing like North Korea. There were thousands out protesting the government only weeks ago. When did you last see that in North Korea?

Bet he never thought trump would be the one who got him,

Nodody did comedy at its finest

Whatever he was a coward he wasn’t, he fought on the frontline in the iran iraq war and had seen years of combat,

Trump on the other hand never saw a day as he dodged the draft as his daddy got him out of it and in typical fashion it’s the likes of Trump who would piss in pants in real warfare and is really just a tough guy with his mouth or with pushing a button on someone from thousands of miles away will likely send many of his own men to their deaths due to a completely unnecessary provocative action. Also frankly I think it’s pretty fd up to get fun out of another human being been blown apart, american or Iranian, that’s just me.

Yeah and they gunned down 1500 of their own citizens. The US would be justified in doing a lot more. It’s a scummy regime.

More of your drivel. Who installed Saddam and then came back to claim they were liberating them?

1 million people were killed in 35 years under an American installed puppet dictator. Then he stopped listening to them so they re-liberated the country. Since then the lucky people of Iraq have only had 2.4 million people killed in 15yrs. They should be so thankful.

You are comparing Iran to the USA. Iran is closer to North Korea in how the mad mullahs control their population. A lot of the "outpourings of grief" look completely staged and fake to me tbh.

Just like we were told to all go out and see the pope in the late 70's yeah lol

For something to be staged you need auditions, so in your opinion there's a conspiracy going on and they've all been put on notice for a spontaneous mourning exhibition....

The US installed a socialist like Saddam now. You’re a fruitcake.

So once again you'd have no problem with the killing of innocent Irish citizens by the Iranians? Is that correct?

Worked out well for them all

LOL! The biggest terrorist in the Middle East by far is the US occupation forces, they have murdered tens of thousands of Iraqi men, women & children since 2003. The US aren't dealing with a ragtag band of Jihadists anymore, Iran is a nation of 80 million people with a well-armed and highly motivated military as well as IRGC and the support of the battle-hardened Hezbollah militias in Lebanon & Syria. If a cowardly draft-dodging scumbag like Trump thinks he can intimidate the Iranians he picked the wrong country. I hope the Yanks have lots of body bags in storage, they're going to need them!

I have to respect you because at least you show your colours openly. Unlike the other lefty weasels in this thread who pretend they only care about the Iranians and not that they just hate America and Trump plain and simple. At least your hate is pure.

It's a fairly far out hypothetical, I'd have no problem with the Iranians catching up with scumbag Trump wherever they can, Iran would have no interest in killing Irish civilians so I'm sure they would do their best to avoid collateral damage. It's probably a thousand-to-one chance anyway.

Seriously get off COD and actually read a history book. Saddam came to power after years of turmoil in Iraq but his permanence was solidified when the yanks cosied up to him and supported his war against the Iranians. His grip on power was maintained due to US support and when he got too big for his boots they got rid of him using lies about WMDs as an excuse.

Oh dear. I’ve worked in the US, have relations there and spent months of wonderful holidays all over the US. I’d a green card available to me at one point, but opted not to live there. Trump is a piss poor excuse of a president - an opinion I share with a majority of US citizens. Try a different Jackanory routine.
