Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey,

Just wondering if anybody here can offer opinion on Imagine in Kerry, Killarney area but rural. Our situation in a bit of a mess. We live in in a 130 yr old house which is an issue for internal signal and add to that we are at the bottom of a valley (can't even get Sky) so we have been using one of the local satellite wireless internet companies for the last 2 years since buying the house.

Lately the service hasn't been as good and the new higher speed package isn't available as our location means we can see mast necessary. I was thinking maybe Imagine might have a better set up but am a bit skeptical as you can imagine |(pun intended)

    Anybody offer any advice?

Best check the Imagine thread https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057558377&page=495

It is normal to have crap speeds on Imagine as they over contend mast sites.

It all depends on what mast your on and how many customers are using the mast. Some people have poor speeds all the time, others have good speeds during the small hours of the morning and early on in the day, then contention drops speeds off the cliff in the evenings and prime time. There are also the lucky few who get generally decent speeds 24/7. Mostly we hear of the poor speeds rather than those who do get decent speeds so it's difficult to gauge how widespread is Imagine's contention problem.
