Even if you've forgotten the past 10yrs or so...your personality won't have changed. You won't tell a child their picture is badly drawn if you have a kind, Shona-like heart. What sort of an asshole does that? I'm not relishing this storyline. The Shona character doesn't suit David but her decency makes up for it so this change in her is hard to accept.

Helen Worth was once married to Michael Angelis who died last week. He was in the great Boys from the Blackstuff.

If yasmeen does start defending herself which I think something will click day x into trial the laptop will be taken as they will see when the bookings were taken with the escort and as she got an sti herself if contradicts Geoff that nothing was happening, they will find all the deleted files camera files possibly when the son is on the stand and says he was in fear and had cameras for his safety.

Asha Alahan played a blinder last night, I love that her and Dev are getting close over this. It was nice to see the three Alahans sitting around the dinner table having a laugh for a change, they are usually fighting, just wish her brother would lay off with the jokes now, enough already. And where did Ashas' voice come from when she was giving Corey a mouthful of abuse in the street? You go girl:D

Once the laptop is taken, forensics will undelete or whatever forensics do, and there will be absolute proof that Geoff was the abuser. He will be convicted by his own camera. (Hopefully).!

It will probably take Sally or Alya to uncover the laptop footage either at the last minute of the trial or after she spent a while inside.
You’ve to remember your dealing with the Weatherfield police force one of the worst in the world. What’s ever faith I had in them I lost when they took Craig on.

Alya will suddenly remember some computer class she did in school and do some CSI type keyboard bashing to undo the delete.

It's really strange that the police didn't check out Geoff's phone considering that Yasmeen and Alya had already made contact concerning Geoff's behaviour. Had they bothered they would have seen the app for that bloody camera

I hope Tim thinking he is helping Geoff tells Sally and the police about the laptop and camera

I thought it was common knowledge that sally did Digital Forensics for GCHQ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,292 ✭✭✭threetrees

I thought Yasmine was brilliant last night, remembering all the things Geoff brainwashed her with. Plead not guilty Yaz!!!!

Eileen and Cathy becoming buddies doesn't sir well with me. No way would Eileen put up with Cathy's nonsense for too long.

Not the real voice. I refuse to recognise any episodes that are not voiced by ringo

    They are united for Yasmeen

Liz is Eileen's best mate and Cathy is Yasmeen's

Is Imran also Yasmeen's barrister, is Paula gone?

I had to mute it. Spiked my tinnitus from the flashback sound effects.

Yep, she was excellent. The scenes between herself and Alya were really well done. Alya's reply when Yasmeen asked her why she was crying - 'because you're not' - Brilliant stuff !

I’ve got to remember to stay off Twitter before I watch Corrie. They’ve just said what Yasmeen pleaded. I guess they are live tweeting at the ITV times

Ken & Adam talking about the effort of visiting Daniel like he’s still living in Scotland and commuting to Weatherfield everyday.

I thought it was going to be related to the B&B guest. Maybe he found her long list sister I thought?!

Whoever she is, her introduction was typically overdramatic and poorly done. Her interaction with Sean just awful. In any event, chances are she'll get shifts in Rovers and Billy will put her up. Then we'll find our she has a terrrile secret and then ....

She'll have a baby with Steve McDonald...

Or the Bistro. After all, they’re short a manager.

They have Faye and is Daniel returning? What is he living on, widow's pension? Did Carla take over Sinead's business of beard oils and candles

That was a really weird moment where Sharon and Gary were talking about Fred Elliott. I even looked to see if Gary even knew Fred, and no, Gary's family arrived two years after the butcher died with no meaningful connections between the two characters.

A quick search on Twitter showed others confused but some pointed out that at SOME point, Adam introduced himself to Sharon using Fred Elliott as an alias. Weird effect of the extended lead time between episodes I suppose.

I cannot understand why the police didn't take Geoff's computer at the time of Yasmeen's arrest.

Or mobile phone as camera set up to see through that

It must be Yasmeen's phone that was taken

Lots of holes in the story , it was attempted murder so you would expect for forensics to least search the room . The camera wasn’t exactly small or well hidden. Surely phones and laptops would in normal circumstances be examined.

I think because Yasmeen initially admitted killing him, so probably there was no need to look further than that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,027 ✭✭✭JoChervil

I mean in an ideal world they should do this thorough search, but in a "real" world people usually do as little as they can.

It would probably be a different story, if he died.

The detective should track down the exs of Geoff who he also had trouble with, one being Tim's mam
