Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think Sally could be not fully on Geoff's side

I hope the police track down Tim's mother now

I think Sally will be a big help for Yasmeen. She was a victim of a skilful manipulator too, so she should be sensitive now to such things.

I wonder, if Geoff's ex wife (Tim's mother) is alive?

AFAIK Big Jim so it is has myotonic dystrophy. I remember because a friend of mine has it in her family.
I don't know if that comes under mitochondrial disease, or whether it is related.

    And David
re-visits his death wish storyline, heading off to some rough estate to antagonise some drug dealers by jumping on the bonnet of their Ford Escort. What a ridiculous storyline... A Ford Escort!

I really dislike the way Corrie characters manage to lie to the police and they lock up the wrong person, even for a few nights. It's ridiculous.

Coronation st must have the world record for the most incorrect arrests on one street.

I would have thought that in Yasmeens obvious fragile state that a medical check would have been requested.

Yep, it's so predictable and boring. The actors involved have been brilliant, I just wish the writers would avoid the usual route. As Maryanne says, Yasmeen was in no condition to be interviewed. A mental and physical assessment should have been ordered.

Ah no! That covers a while range of conditions. Not looking forward to this storyline..

Absolutely. She's obviously not coping and should have her mental health checked. Wouldn't Alya be allowed to talk to her?

It's ridiculous, I'm surprised there haven't been more complaints from the Police force. Corrie always portray them as Attila the Hun types determined to get suspects locked up in record time. That is not a true reflection of members of the Police force in my opinion. It's obvious that Yasmeen needs care and it would be more realistic if the officers got that sorted first. When you think of some of the awful Irish cases we have seen in the press you can be sure that the arresting Gardai took a more sympathetic approach. This portrayal of the law would not encourage anyone needing help to approach their local station

Oliver storyline in Corrie basically the child will live but die young?

Yes Callum's death was blamed on Tony who conveniently died, I think Gary knows the truth though

The police have a record of Alya request under Claire's Law for info on Geoff and the police visited Yasmeen so that should help

Yasmeen should also speak up that Geoff visited escorts and gave her an std

Am pretty sure the only ones that know about chlamydia is GP, Geoff and Yasmeen; unless Jeff goes around telling everyone he got it from his wife, which is entirely possible.

Has any medical professional examined Yasmeen since in custody, she is not in her full mind, coherent state

Sally is definitely not believing what had happened, hmm between her, Eileen and Brian's wife/gf maybe they can do something, if this is dragged out and Yasmeen is just tortured in jail with no medical or mental assessment will be horrible watching

That was weird, Ryan called Tim Roy.

Hm, I assumed Ted had shuffled off this mortal coil years ago.

The longer this story of yet another wrongfully imprisoned character drags on, the more likely Geoff will get home to dispose of the only real piece of concrete evidence, without which it would all be hearsay even if someone overhears something that gives the game away.
