Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Also you couldn't miss it if you were cleaning as much as Yasmine cleaned.

And didn't the police go over it? So a forensic team that aren't supposed to miss a hair missed a camera. A CAMERA!!!

I'm surprised they didn't sieze the laptop when ferensics were in. They took the mobile phones.

Could we petition Dominic Cummins to free the Weatherfield One?
Ah no, we couldn't do that. He'd probably drive up North to visit her

I just thought. Maybe they did.
It would be very smart police work to leave it there and see would he admit it, perhaps smart beyond the capabilities of the Weatherfield plods.

It would presumably back up his side of the story, so him not offering it is a bit suss. They must have cross-checked and know Yasmeen had made contact under Claire's law, so they know he has form (as they say in telly progs).

Apparently she's supposed to be like a teenager. Nice view they have of teenagers. Or maybe she was just a horror as a teenager?

Has she asked about Clayton's dad, she wouldn't remember he was dead

Two chinks in Geoff's armour but we don't know how they will work out. He asked Tim not to tell Sally about the camera and didn't he say that Yasmeen knows about the recordings. That might in some way come back to haunt him.

Geoff placed the camera in the bin with all the care usually afforded for a positive pregnancy test. Now who will find it? I'm backing PC Craig

Are you off to see Yazz?

    The only way is up....

I wonder did they mean that.

They’re too young to get that!

I know I'm obsessed with Villanelle, but are they trying to turn Shona into an imitation of her or something? Because they're failing gigantically.

She’s not acting like a teenager though, not any teenager I know anyway. More like a deranged toddler, grabbing the cookie tray out of oven and laughing in people’s faces. Bored of her already.

I cant remember what caused Shona's memory loss, was it a brain injury?

I only ask because my friend's aunt had a brain injury and she is in her 80s and carries on like Shona and she has done since it happened 20+years ago. She has no filter and says things that most people would find rude but she genuinely doesn't know how rude she's being. She also has no sense of danger in some cases and the kitchen would be one of these areas. She has a few other issues too. Apparently her personality was pretty different beforehand and the way she is now is preferable to how she was, even with these vulnerabilities.

Just spotted this on The Journal. Got 10/10 but the Gail and Steve answers were guesses :-)

Quiz: How well do you know your Coronation Street characters?

It took me a while to remember but Shona reminds me a little of Heather in Fir City after her brain indury. Heather was always a bit off but she was a lot worse after that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,300 ✭✭✭✭casio4

So if Shona is a danger to herself, touching hot surfaces and laughing at remarks like ''my wife died from pancreatic cancer'' should she not have a minder with her most of the time. Otherwise she will hurt herself or someone else will hurt her, if she moves in with Roy he will be downstairs most of the time and she can hardly work in Roys' rolls as she will either scald herself or upset someone

So Emmerdale is staying on air with two hander episodes And sadly Eastenders will go off air so what’s happening with Corronation Street? when will they run out of episodes and are they doing two hander episodes to stay on air.

  • Registered Users Posts: 766 ✭✭✭Lennox Gilbey

Corrie are back filming next Tuesday producing 3 episodes per week and they say they will not be off air.

I thought the carer or nurse who was with her said the other night that she's reverted to her teenage years? That's why she expected Clayton to be younger?

How will Geoff talk his way out of this, of course dim Tim will believe anything he says

Yas drove me to it. She stopped putting out and I was frustrated. It didn't mean anything. I was also a bit lonely, needed female company. They're not prostitutes, they're escorts.

Defo the best Corrie scene I can remember. Webster's fall is the greatest bit of acting in soap history

    "He's been seeing escorts"
"What he's after a new car?"

Such a dumb line, but I did chuckle aloud at it.

I think it was caused by massive blood loss following the shooting. Presumably lack of oxygen to the brain for a bit.

Craig has lost 10 stone in real life!

A teenager would know not to grab a hot try out of the oven though, most 5 year olds would know

I completely agree. Like I said further up the thread:-

I'm full sure I heard the carer say she's reverted to her teenage years. I don't fancy suffering through re runs to check though.

Bottom line is, whatever she's at she's really flaming annoying

She's coming across as rude, I don't like rude people:(

I think Imran if Yasmeen allows should call Dr. Gaddas, she knows when she got the sti and Geoff's fake heart problems etc., if she can break medical privilege on the stand
