Even if all that money was somehow gone, surely she'd have access to £1000. she has been running the pub since Johnny and Jenny went on their long holidays and is presumably living in the pub to look after the b&b side of things, so no rent or bills.

He was. That usually heralds a visit, so Sean may be popping off for a while. They usually return with a tan from such (pre-covid) visits.

Ah yeah but it's not like he spent the last dozen years feeding, clothing, paying for schools and holidays and whatnot for him. Probably just Christmasses, birthdays and the odd phonecall and few pounds here and there. And certainly not enough to completely bankrupt the man.

I wonder will there by a story of Sean having to support a sullen teenager in the next few years, or he rocks up a bit later as the latest heartthrob to "rock the cobbles" and cause hassle for everyone.
