Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Haven't watched last night's episode. Can't face another addiction storyline. Abi annoys me with her stupid rash self destruct actions. Fcuk sake.

Watched it. No I didn't miss much. Billy so concerned about Todd...It's daft..sure he's a grown man and Craig verified he was alive up to recently. He's clearly still holding a candle. Rows ahead with Paul...(sighs in sad resignation). That was silly too the other night with Billy, Sean and Mary watching the garden. Billy was standing facing the wall like he was pissing.
This Daniel/call girl thing...is he going to develop a fixation on her? A possibly different angle on a stalker storyline maybe? Might be good to watch.

Post Covid-19, how do they do scenes with Daniel and the escorts? He can't pay them anymore to lie on Sinead's jumper.

I don’t think it’s anything to COVID, he actually said from day 1 he’s no interest in having sex. The escort even said to him the last day why is he paying her just to talk when he should just talk to his friends or family.

So are sex workers exempt from the 2 metre rule?.......asking for a friend.

I get that I mean he has been lying on yer wan Nicky wearing Sinead's jumper. So what now as the actors have to social distance so does she or the new one sit in a chair across the room with the jumper on? She'll look like Ronnie Corbett.

Maybe she'll wear the jumper so she can sniff it later.

I'm not focusing correctly and I thought I clicked into the Phil Hogan thread and I was like. Who did he make dinner for?
I suppose he could his George Foreman.

    When did Johnny return?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 430 ✭✭bubbles o hara

I know we should be kind because of the filming restrictions imposed by covid, but dear God, recent episodes have been brutal. I detest Gemma. She moans constantly, Chesney gurns, lather, rinse, repeat. I like Paul and I'm even warming to Bernie. Couldn't care less about Abbie.

Am I the only one who hates Sean and Mary?
    Rant over. :D

I was never gone on Sean but I suppose they wanted an over the top gay character.
One character I'd ax for certain would be Brian.

Yeah he asked and Peter said he's renting somewhere around the corner, Johnny pulled a face which Peter questioned but Johnny just kind of brushed it off. I'm surprised I caught all that because I am usually fairly tuned out!

And for someone who recently had an operation. The polish would have been whipped off quicksmart in theatre.

Did Abi call Kevin's sister Annie Lennox? Was that mentioned before? She does look like her alright! I hope she stays, I live a gossipy character. Reminds me of Margi Clarke too Tyrone's mother.

She did call her Annie Lennox, I think it was mentioned on this thread, when she first appeared, years ago, before it was mentioned on Corrie.
