Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looks like Oliver has some voluntary movement after all because he apparently just stepped out to grab a coffee while Steve and Leanne were arguing.

I noticed that as well. It was so obvious!

Me too! The bed was clearly empty..no sounds from a ventilator either. Outstanding performance from Jane Danson. Annoying though she is...my God, that was impressive acting.

Is this going to be another storyline that’s just going to drag on & on? What was the point of an hour long episode if there wasn’t some sort of resolution? Writers don’t seem to be able to end storylines, look at the Yazmeen mess. It really should have ended last nite & let’s move on to some sort of happier storylines

I didn't see it. Do you want to give me a Synopsis? :)

Really feel for Leanne. She’s an amazing actress Jane Dawson.

I only half watch so don't get too emotionally involved in storylines, hardly ever shed a tear but Friday was an exception. It was such a sad episode and more to come. I thought Jane Danson was great.

I presume Oliver's condition is true to life in terms of symptoms, (not the actor), such an awful disease.

I didn't get this at all. Ridiculous. When I saw this, I thought they pulled the plug on Oliver and shipped him out to the morgue ..

Jane D is a great actress but her character is awful. Poor Steve

They’ve been sitting next to an obviously empty bed for weeks now. Surely they could have just used a doll to add a bump in the bed?

Has Oliver got the same thing that Big Jim McDonald has?

No. Jim’s is Myotonic Distrophy which affects muscle function, so it does.

I remember Bruce Jones talking about this. He has had a hard life. Wish him the best.

Be the hokey Peter! That'd random, I missed most of what Peter and Carla were yapping on about, heard Tina mentioned but is your man coming up to him just random?!

Would they consider turning Leanne off instead and putting her to sleep

I expect a hostage siege in the hospital with Leanne until he finally passes for Corrie's big 60th week

Steve and Leanne sit with Oliver, and serenade him once more with a rendition of You are my Sunshine.
Nick and Tracy are heartbroken, as they listen from the hospital corridor.
The singing stops and thus they know that Oliver has died.

I think I’ll give that episode a swerve.

PC Craig wants to know of any building developments in the pipeline so asks ehhh Gareh. Just an idea Poirot but can you not ring the council planning department? Also when we were getting an extension we had to stick a notice in the garden. Do you not have to do that in the UK to demolish a street and build apartments and a retail park?

He only saw drawings. They wouldn’t have been submitted to planning department just yet.

Looking at Rays plans, would open up alot more storylines but realistically Corrie are limited by how much they can expand the set.

    Pic of plans attached.

I don’t think she has been since she went to jail.

Why is Ray going to such underhand lengths to build on the street? Doesn't exactly seem like a hive of activity in the area!
