Oh there will be a peak at Easter; just not the peak they expect. Between spring break and Easter holidays you'll see probably peak spread in terms of number of places it goes. Peak period would then come around June and die down a bit due to heat before it flares up again in September / October (and Trumps reaction after declaring victory over Corona in August will be, shall we say, interesting...).

The Admin is basing its current models used in it's media briefing for the future virus effects [between now and June] in the US on what has happened/is happening to date in Italy, last night's media briefing. Another aspect to this is that reportedly the American Insurance body and the Dems have jointly asked the Admin to allow US citizens get the health insurance cover they used to be allowed sign up to under ACA but the Admin has not acceded to letting the citizens get that coverage. 2 of their 11 nuclear powered aircraft carriers are now docked up and inopperable due to Covid, 1 of them being completely evacuated, this should be inexcusable for any administration especially from a republican standpoint
