On CNN now and they are inside the venue- it is barely half full.Entire upper deck of the arena is barely 10% full and CNN are reporting that the Trump campaign is trying to spin it as to why they said a million people applied for tickets but only just over 10,000 showed up. They are trying to blame it on the media for reporting on the virus. The predicted overflow crowd of 40,000 has not matieralised, there are just a few dozen people there.

Tulsa residents and God knows where else these people have flown in from, you can be sure there are plenty (not including the paid ones) of Trump cult members who follow dear leader if he is anyway regionally close to them and they will be flying back over the coming days so the lower the number of people attend the better for all concerned, Trump's ego can be massaged whatever way they want, I could care less about that but thankfully it shows that his draw is not what it was when this happens in such a red state and he hasn't been on the pity party road show for quite some time now.

The question will rightly be asked how could someone so incapable of doing such a job have convinced enough of the country to vote for him.

You maybe would rate the above as equal to the way in which some other presidents are remembered fondly, it absolutely is not. In fact, one of the most consistent things Trump has done has been to grow appreciation for Obama and that would make Donald's blood boil if he realised it.

But Trump does not like the forever wars - of America's recent past. 'Loser war' is what I believe he said about Afghanistan. So I doubt foreign intervention wars are on the cards.
He is only likely to attack, if attacked first - similar to the original Black Panther Modus Operandi. Look tough, but do not strike the first blow.

They are suggesting that many of his supporters may have prefered not to risk getting infected in a large tightly packed and noisy indoor gathering.

I am not sure that their apparently blind following is otherwise diminished...

Interesting that the streets in the town are now filled with opposing groups of different kinds of protesters and trump supporters....perhaps a little common sense will rub off on them .

It seems the report he told the rally that he had asked U.S officials to slow down on Covid-19 testing because the number of positive tests were climbing so rapidly is true because a White House official told reporters that he was only joking. No half-assed denial there. How far his comment to the rally members comes to being a request for people not to get tested because getting a positive result drives up the numbers is anyone's guess.
