Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Use my fritzbox instead of the Gigabox

I'd like to use my fritzbox from my last SIRO provider instead of the gigabox as it worked flawlessly. Anyone got what I would need to change on the fritzbox to get it working with Vodafone now?

Could I also plug my gigabox into one of my Ethernet sockets and disable the router abilities and use it as an access point to boost wifi on the upper floors?

    Cheers.

Did you ever find out how this can be done?

Easily doable. You need to choose the external modem option on the Fritz and plug the SIRO ONT into the LAN 1 port. Set it up with a PPPoE connection. The newer models (7590) have a separate WAN port so you'd connect the ONT to this instead.
