Would this be an easy fix and worth it for anyone?

    Hey folks,
I've had this set of Boston Acousting Digital Media Theatre speakers and sub for almost 20 years and they have served me very well, unfortunately the sub went and now has a pretty loud buzz with any bass. A friend happened to get a free set of the exact same system and thought it was working fine, but it has a different issue, also with the sub, which produces a rattle and there's no real bass from it at all.

I was thinking if somebody knows what they are doing, it might be an easy fix for them and if they could fix both, they could keep one system if they can only fix one, they can keep that.

I'm not sure is it worth it for anyone here? I don't know how valuable the system would be considered today, but I think it was a pretty pricey system back in the day.

    I have it up on adverts.ie: https://www.adverts.ie/home-audio/read-before-requesting-boston-acoustics-digital-media-theatre-damaged/19562566

If anyone might be interested, please let me know :)
