Hi, I currently have a credit card with Bank of Ireland and am making monthly repayments but I am looking to get a mortgage this year. making minimum repayments it could take 6+years to pay it off. if I got a personnel loan I would be able to pay off the credit card and then make monthly repayments which would be less than credit card repayments over 5 years. My question is, would having this personnel loan effect my mortgage application less than making credit card repayments?
