Does anyone know what/if there is a record for most unanswered points in a game ? Surely 40 points is up there.

This has been really impressive by the Chiefs. 24pts down, now leading 24:41, and more likely they'll increase that lead rather than the Texans mounting a fightback.
Who knows how it would have gone if the Texans punted, but that had to affect the players. Bill O'Brien def on the hot seat.

I know the Pats were 21:0 down to the Bills and came back to win 21:49.

I did read a good point (here or elsewhere) but for all the talk of a 24 point lead, the Texans didn't really play amazing to deserve it..... More the chiefs blowing play after play.

I still think BOB didn't to enough to protect it.

Big play, but even TD only cuts it to 10. Here we go, this might make a game of it.... Looks a TD to me.

Def it was more the Chiefs with all their drops.
But O'Brien gave them the momentum with that crazy decision.

I love the two QB's this game. Fair enough, defending has been iffy, but they've both shown stones. I liked the pep talk / rollicking Mahomes gave his skill position players when they were down 24.

Texans defence is laughable.
If it weren't for KC dropping early passes, Texans would never have been in the this game in the first place.

I haven’t checked but for some weird reason I know the redskins were involved. It was the late thirties early forties maybe. I mean the bears were a strong team in that time period so it’s very likely they were involved.

I think so. I remember one quote from a player who was asked if an early missed TD by the losing team affected the game. He answered "yeah, it would have been 73-6"....

This game will haunt the texans for the off season. The Texans had the game in control. What was wrong with punting the ball instead of trying to clever when leading by so much ?

Going back to the earlier discussion, after seeing how much the Chiefs offense exploded when behind, even while still looking rusty, I don't see Titans scoring enough points against them.

BOB will get a lot of stick for the fake punt but i think Reid has to make Sorensen miss, should have picked up the yardage, space either side of the tackler and he runs right into it.

Hard to know what to do if you're Bob McNair... 4 divisions in the last 5, but this has a Jason Garrett-type feel to it at this stage.

That said, the Bengals fired Marvin Lewis for not making that leap in the playoffs and the wheels came off for them.

The line for that was up before the game. Think it is 7.5

Still only a 1st down on their own 35, maybe 40.
Risk was not worth the reward. Esp after he took 3pts on 4th and 1 in the red zone.

Given that Bob McNair is dead makes it impossible to know what he’d do.

Can't wait to see BOB try to explain that fake punt in the postgame. Dude should be coaching in Siberia next year. Perennial playoff choker. Beat the Raiders with a 3rd string QB and needed a miracle to beat a rookie QB on the road in his 1st playoff game. That's it in 6 games
