Lost 3DS

The young fellas has mislaid his 3DS. He had several games download to it. He has a replacement one now but how does he go about setting it up? Will he be able to download the games he had purchased on his old 3DS? More importantly., he had Pokemon Bank set up on his old 3DS - is that linked to his account or the old 3DS?…

You might have to ring up Nintendo to sort this one out. His account will be tied to the lost 3DS. That one will need to be deactivated and then activated on the new one.
