People forgetting Rashford had a serious injury and that everyone seems to be a bit rusty since the restart. Also, the cross was for Martial. Hit that hard to make sure the first defender couldn't reach it for a corner. Great pass.

I wouldn't be so sure myself. When he looked up Martial wasn't even there and the only player in his eye line at that time was Bruno.

Technically yes he has an assist, I think he was drilling it across the goal rather than picking out Martial and it was down to Martials quick reaction.

Although he's still well capable of netting a couple of goals tonight.

When talking about Rashford, what we want is consistency. I think he meant the cross, to be played directly to find Martial or to be put into a dangerous area, brilliant, that’s what he’s picked for... it doesn’t absolve the other horror show stuff he’s been guilty of in this half.

United have played well so far. They have been trying to pick out good passes and showing attacking flair. Dont think it's fair to say you'd be worried if its only 1-0. United have been far and away the better team.

Bar the finishing, United have played well and deserve to be 2 if not more in front. No doubt about it.

Call it rustiness after the break but we're controlling a game we should be controlling, well on top and playing well.

Lots of positives to take given some of the dire we were accustomed to during the season.

I just can't get on board with this type of take.

Martial has done nothing different this match, bar convert two chances. No more effort, no less.

Its typical analysis of a striker. if they score that means they are trying more or have played well.

Actually think the water breaks are very disruptive to our rhythm
