Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hopefully we can get a third and put this to bed.

This, bar Leicester on the last day of the season is our hardest game on paper in our remaining fixture list.
Honestly didn't expect us to be 2-0 up at half time, really delighted, it'll be a long 45 minutes if we slip up and let them back in though.

    Glazers Out!

Actually think the water breaks are very disruptive to our rhythm

    Similar against Spurs

    Happy with that overall

Well done Martial tbf, great goals

Water breaks are becoming a bit of a farce already.

    Glazers Out!

Hopefully we come out and start the second half in a positive mindset, play the way we have been playing get the third and game over. As we’ve been saying it’s a handy as fück run in we have so no fücking up.

18th goal of the season for Martial now in 36 games.

1 in 2 strike rate. Good progress for him this season.

Would be great if he could get a third today. Seems like a long time since Kagawa and Van Persie achieving that a few weeks apart.

United are reacting poorly to them, and its on United to cop on and get back up to speed quicker. If the opposition can do there is no excuse for United.

would forget Greenwood is on the pitch. disappointing.

Jesus, I think he’s done alright. Putting in a shift for us and he’s creating acres of space with his clever movement.

Can I also just say, with the risk of sounding like a broken record, that tonight is a perfect example of how Pogba cannot win with the media. Neville made a comment late in the second half when gave the ball away sloppilyThat’s fine but he went on to insinuate that the role doesn’t suit him etc But at the same time he has been praising Bruno all match who was giving the ball away a lot which you do have to accept will happen with the way he plays.

Pogba has been disciplined and is still ticking us over and creating space and chances. What do people want from him?

Wilder knows we are weak at left full and is trying to exploit it, they just don’t have the players.

Surely people will recognise AWB is developing his forward game now. Best full back in the league incoming.

Pogba has had a good game, Sheffield United midfield hasn’t been able to nullify him...

Although the win is the most important, christ I'd love this to happen just so that unwanted record is gone.

To absolutely hockey Sheffield United, injuries/loan players aside, would be a great statement.

Yeah fair play to him, 2 really smart finishes too. Would leave to see him establish himself as a consistent too level striker, he certainly has all the technical and physical attributes to do so. It's his mindset I'd have question marks over some times.

My favourite full back probably since (and he's been mentioned twice in this thread now recently) Heinze. Just love a good defensive full back and glad to see him using his pace and stretch armstrong legs to whip in a quick ball.

To be fair, the weather over here is fooking hot, and will be tomorrow as well. I needed a water break just walking to the shop earlier :pac:

But I do not want to see them become the norm in matches.

I just can't get on board with this type of take.

Martial has done nothing different this match, bar convert two chances. No more effort, no less.

Its typical analysis of a striker. if they score that means they are trying more or have played well.
Oh dear. Almost like a striker isn't meant to score goals but instead provide more to the team? Oh, wait...

  • Sheffield getting dominated here

I very much enjoyed that nutmeg by Pogba.

Would like to see Williams and James come on for Rashford and Shaw.

Shame we haven't got a third. I'd be happy for Ole to use the bench if this game was over. In saying that, it's not like the team or run off it's feet.

I’m quite surprised that Bruno Fernandes is younger than Pogba. Cracking player.

He's a cracking player and such a ****ing ice cold finisher

Exactly how you want to finish for your first hatrick

Well done Martial. Sheffield United are so poor though. Hard to believe they are so comfortable in the league going by their last 2 performances

He was trying to pass it back to De Gea

It just shows that when he gets good chances he's very likely to convert them. Absolutely lethal finisher. Need to see more of the kind of crosses wan Bissaka put in for him in the first half.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,293 ✭✭✭All_in_Flynn

Super goal. Everything about that was class. Pogba with the weighted ball into Bruno who goes first time around the corner exchange between Rashford and martial who then gives the ice cold finish.

Goal ahead of Chelsea on GD now. Could do with trying to get 1 or 2 more.

Edit: woops, I was looking at the table before KO. 4 ahead now :D

Totally, three goals up, we can afford to throw caution to the wind, we ship one, so be it, no risk no reward, Sheffield look tired now.

Made this look easy for the most part.

We did but playing with a positive game plan, not loosing the head when Sheffield were looking difficult to break down and having good attacking intent right throughout the game, with numbers forward.
