Liverpool’s central midfield is often three lads that are not known for their attack minded play like a Pogba. What is it , fabhino, Henderson, Wijnaldum, llalana
and Milner? Are these not just well coached and setup as opposed to being great at unlocking defences?

Look at David Silva and De Bruyne at City. Ali and Eriksen at Spurs. Maddison at Leicester.
Even Mount and Willian at Chelsea contribute more in top end of the pitch than our midfielders.

On Liverpool, I take your point.
But even though they don't always catch the eye, the passing ability of their midfield is very good. Henderson's eye for a pass in particular has really improved under Klopp.

Of course they also have those full backs who are just devastating.
14 FB assists in the league alone. And we're barely halfway through the season.

Nice at least to see that lovely assist from Mata today!

There's hard running but not intelligent, there is jogging when there should be hard running. In effect Rashford is doing his work as well as his own. This is the sort of match that a forward of the calibre Martial thinks he is should be monstering, especially with Rashford to share the load. Instead he hasn't really caused any problems

Firmino's movement/ intelligence/ dropping a bit deeper plays a big role for Liverpool.

LB is sorted, Williams is a clever player, a few times today he has gone forward and stayed forward but has tucked in as shown by his position for the pen

Imagine if we got a full package RB, AWB's defending and recovery is his strongest asset but his attacking play needs a lot of improving
