How long for a speeding ticket to be issued

Hi all, hope this is in the right place. On new years eve on an empty N7 I'm certain I got a speeding ticket. My first ever so I hold my hands up. I've been carrying the cash around waiting for it since and nothing has come, anyone know how long it takes to be issued? Someone told me if I didn't see a flash then I didn't…
