Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bad Weather

One Irish weather reporter put a map up showing red warnings over a lot of the country which is untrue.

There will be some employees who took the day off assuming the red warning. One Boards poster has already said that he will take disciplinary action against employees who don't turn up.

The fake report made it into the media.

But the text on the tweet clearly says there are currently no red warnings? Or are you referring to a different report.

I think that map got posted without the text. It's a bit dumb to say there aren't red warnings & post a map covered in red. But some people are saying that you can take the day off even with an Orange warning & your employer can't do anything about it.

ME are now telling people to stop posting "fake weather".

    Ah, I see.

Have any employers put any guidelines in place in these situation I wonder? Mine don’t but we have an alert system that texts everyone if officially we shouldn’t come in. In my own department people are more likely to try and come in when it’s too dangerous than the opposite. I was in before the weather warning started this morning and it will be finished after it ends... just hope no trees come down blocking my route home.
