    Makes you wonder do the Amish folks have the right idea, dig a bit out in the fields, dander out to check on the livestock, catch a bit of sun, knit an aul jumper, play some piano, not a smartphone in sight.

    Keeping physically busy, creating, doing stuff is all vitality important for children. Nature walks are a superb idea, simple, costs nothing.

    Well that's nuts - 44 years living and paying taxes here and it's almost 2k for an irish passport!
    the fact anyone living abroad on the granny rule can get one for 170e is crazy.

    Seems fair enough to me. If it's worth it, then that's a fair price.

    Mad money.
    Just comparing (I suppose extreme cases) isn't a good idea, mea culpa.

    An Irish passport is one of the most valuable in the world for travel. Sometimes valuable things cost money.

    If you want to be Irish but think its too expensive to pay to be Irish then you are Irish. 22 Catch 22s Joe.

    I always remember this guy asking me in the library for a form to apply to become an Irish citizen. I checked up on this and the form has as many pages as Joe’s buke and way more complex. I tried to explain we didn’t even have enough print resources that day.., He said he couldn’t understand me as he didn’t really speak English. I simply wrote down the website address for the form. English fluency is a basic requirement.

    A= We had a suicide
    B-We had a fratricide
    A-See your fratricide and raise you an infanticide
    B-See your infanticide and raise you a serial killer
