Jaysus I’ve a bit of a dodgy ticker too, have to take blood-thinner to prevent strokes. Already have evidence on brain mri of small ones before Afib diagnosis.

My mother was on blood thinners and had a stroke back in November. Because of the blood thinners they couldn't operate. She's still in hospital recovering.

I’ve a three legged cat at my feet. The hospital said he’s best cat patient ever. He’s a bit bewildered with the very strong morphine.

Oh dear I’m very sorry to hear this. There is a certain risk of haemorrhaging stroke with blood thinners, especially warfarin. I’m only on aspirin. With Afib the blood pools in the atrium during fibrillation and when the heart works effectively again small clots she’d off usually causing smaller types of stroke but with risk of a major one.
