    MOD ADVISORY

Several people have been issued bans and will be unable to post for 7 days. A ridiculous amount of trolling/counter-trolling has been occurring, that could have de-railed the thread. Couldn’t let it go any further.

Please be careful not to get involved in either trolling or responding to trollers.

    Well done. Well done,

I keep meaning to sit down to listen in one day with the express intention of counting how many times Joe manages to get clearly through a sentence without stuttering or mumbling. I suspect the fingers of one hand will be ample.

I think the whole anti-politician diatribe that Duffy comes out with is very sinister. He uses them to deflect attention away from himself, and so that he can appear to be aligned with the common man. Duffy used to be aligned with the common man, but just like Michael D Higgins, he found that socialism is great for paying everybody equally, but capitalism is great for paying off the yacht.

You have a donkey, a carrot and a stick on one bank of the river. You have to get them all across without being kilt by the crocodiles.

And why is there no discussion of the RTE person who sued the company because she wasn't allowed to work on after 65. There is no way that she should have been given any payment, she understood the conditions when she took up the job. And no doubt she had a good RTE pension in any case. Never mind the politicians that is having your cake and eating it.
