Compulsory National Service from the age of 18.

Do you think Ireland should introduce Compulsory National Service? I believe it would be beneficial to have Compulsory National Service from the age of 18 for a year. There could be a choice to Service in the Military or Community Services for 12 months. What do you think?

Imagine our governmental f*** wits in charge of such a thing? Thankfully our army is too small to be sent off to the slaughter because Denis O'Brien or somebody wants a contract somewhere.

Absolutely essential. There is a national problem about our passive attitude to being an independent nation. There is a national obsession with victimhood and elevating whinging.
