Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

John Breslin of Old Ireland in Colour on bringing history to life [Podcast]

    We've got a new podcast, and our guest is NUIG's Professor John Breslin. One of the founders of boards.ie (yes - this boards.ie), he's played a leading role in technology and startups, and he's always interesting to talk to.

    In the past year John began using an AI tool called Deoldify to add colour to old black and white photographs from Irish archives, and the result was Old Ireland in Colour, a personal project which has accumulated thousands of followers on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
