This next gameweek is season defining and on paper I’m really well set up for it so really hoping to get some breaks.

One thing I’m delighted about is Liverpool’s upcoming fixtures means no more captaincy roulette - I’m sticking with Salah come what may. I’ve got 110 points from captains this season which is anywhere from 30-50 (x2) less than I’d have if I’d just auto captained Salah, Mane or KDB all season.

Something I’m giving serious thought to next season is picking a whole season captain or picking a captain for 10 games at a time and only allowing myself to change it if I have a really strong feeling for another player.
