    Hi,

I'm looking for a home audio solution consisting of ceiling mounted speakers and a control unit. However, i would like to be able to separate speakers to zones (different rooms etc.) I would like to be able to cast to the system also, possibly through chromecast audio if no other solution exists. Can you advise me if this is something you could supply?

    Thanks

    Hi paul-2008,

The easiest way to do this would be with the Denon Heos Drive. This amp will allow 4 different stereo zones that can be controlled via the Heos App. You can also wirelessly stream music through streaming services or any NAS drive/PC connected to the same network and individually control the music through each zone:

This coupled with Monitor Audio in ceiling speakers would be a fantastic set up!

Let me know what you think

    Kind regards

    David

    Hi David

This is way out of my budget. Maybe what I'm trying to do isn't possible on a small budget! Was worth asking about anyway!

    Thanks

    Hi Paul,

Multi zone amps would be pushing the budget up a bit. What sort of budget do you have in mind and I'll see if I can find a work around!

    Kind regards

I was more thinking around the 4-500 mark. is there even single zone options available for cheaper than this?

    Hey Paul.

If you just wanted to run 2-4 speakers in one room then you could still stick with Heos and go for the Heos Amp Hs2 £449
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-202147-heos-amp-hs2-inc-wireless-zone-amplifier.aspx

This would allow you to add other zones in the future using Heos products.
    https://www.richersounds.ie/cssearch.aspx?searchterm=heos#pgnum=&sort=

You could also use the Denon DRA800 as it has Heos built in as well as many other features, it also incorporates HDMI inputs for connecting set top boxes, blu ray players, games console etc... Again you could connect other Heos products in other rooms for multi room.
    Also priced at £449

Let me know what you think.
