Couple of my family members have bought a few cars from him, it's a few years ago now but there wasn't any issues.
If I remember his yard was very hard to find!!

My daughter bought a Ford Focus from him, two weeks later the engine light came on and in fairness to the man he took it back in and had to try different fixes to sort it . Eventually he had to fit a new exhaust as the cat was damaged .
