    Hi
    I am about to bring a brand new product to the market in the tourists sector ,there is no other product like it on the market.
    I am finding it hard to pick a packaging design company that I am happy with and has a realistic price for a small start up company. I have a price of €25000 from one of the company’s I like but this would blow my budget. Can any one recommend a packaging design and marketing company that won’t blow the budget . I am in the west but will travel

    Packaging design is a pretty specialised branch of design. Printing on substrates other than paper, can produce all sorts of issues unless you know exactly what you’re doing.

    You also need your product to appeal directly to your target market, sometimes in a very crowded marketplace, Design is hugely important.

    So to get it right you will be charged accordingly by most reputable design agencies.

    If you want it cheaper then try and avoid design agencies. They are companies with staff and premises and that costs money.

    Freelance designers usually work from home and by themselves so their costs are considerably less. They may not know everything you may need - copywriting and production but if they don’t, they should know someone who does.

    Get references from previous clients and check them out diligently.
