    Hi Folks,

Looking to get a TV in DID. Seem to be some good deals but wondering whats the best manufacture based on spec to get for the above price and TV size.
I was on the side of getting the LGUM745, any reccommendations ?

I've never dealt with them, but nearly every request I've seen for a recommendation for TV/etc will result in somebody suggesting you deal with Richesounds: https://www.boards.ie/ttforum/1105. By all accounts, they are knowledgeble, sound and might throw in a boards discount if you ask nicely.

Thanks for that, I imagine they bring the stuff down from the north then?

I've had a LG 43UM745 for about 10 weeks, I bought it in Powercity.
I have no cause for complaint.
The web OS is fine and has updated a couple of times, I've used the Prime and youtube Apps.
I've used the 4k on Youtube App and it is lovely.

Can't say if it is the best, but a sound choice.

At that price point, the cheap LGs are hard to beat, the OS is nice to use and you have Freesat or free to view built in.
