10 euro charge to the tax payer directly, no way the airlines will cover it and Ryanair will make a point of saying this is the goverment tax.

Ok. They way CB read it out it sounded like it was written in a climate change section of the FF manifesto? Maybe the manifesto isn't clear?

He made a fool out of her. He said all our policies for whole dept are in there. We're here to discuss the climate change part.....why are you focusing on the Communications part.

We need to cut the herd of TDs while we are at it. Way too many of them.

I read the comment initially as the manifesto had a section headed Climate Change. And in that was a point on child pornography.

And of course see what the department covers now. I think the department needs breaking up, covers too much. Think climate change should have one of its own.

Bizarre debate....Claire Byrne veering between attacking people and shouting them down, or letting them ramble on aimlessly for waaaay to long.

Anyone know what the badge Richard Bruton is wearing??

It's terrible. Bruton must be wondering how he ended up surrounded by this lot

Richard Bruton looks bored out of his tree.

    He’s not the only one
All this sounds like it’s going to cost me money
Meanwhile we aren’t even drop in the ocean compared with much bigger countries that will never pay for the sh!t they produce.
    It’s a bit of a farce.

FG handlers possibly realised now that constantly attacking the shinners has backfired.

They now have the greens in their sight.

That green girl, speaks a lot of sense.
As someone who's never been into a party, she speaks to me.

The FF guy is a muppet, really bad PR whoever put this guy on to be a spokesperson.

Well Richards performance tonight won't help them improve their position in the polls. He's lost at sea.

Looks disinterested to me. Think FG have given up on this election.

It's actually hilarious how everyone shuts up and nods their head every single time the lady from the Green Party starts talking......she could say literally anything and nobody will say a word.

Yer man from Fianna Fail is actually mildly impressive, the only one to call out Sinn Fein on their populist bullsh1t

  • Registered Users Posts: 69,210 ✭✭✭✭FrancieBrady

Wow...FF guy mustn't know the 'when in a hole stop digging' adage. :)

In fairness I thought the lad has been good so far.

Not watching the TV, but was he any worse than the performance he put in on the tonight show on Thurs when he was caught barefaced lying about Catherine Noones and his election pact being paused by the party?

He's been excellent. Stand out performance. Calling out RTE on their poor broadcasting throughout the election so far.

"that has to be teased out" = i haven't a clue how we'll do it, looks good on paper though right?

Guess that's why it's a good debate and we all have opinions and I welcome yours.
