Just a simple question really. Does one need planning to add stone on the front of one's home and tarmac on the drive.

Planning was got in early 2000s, house finished many years later but never no stone or tarmac on drive.

Would it be a straight forward process using all previous drawings, maps etc.. and costs be reasonable. What about council contributions etc..

What if you one did this work without planning and decided wanting to sell in later years. Would retention cover these changes.
