Maybe he will do the same with Goldberg to erase that burial

Yeah that was a level above the Boneyard match from last night.

Really outstanding creativity and storytelling there, it wasn’t really “pro-wrestling” but it never should’ve been.

Ending was a bit meh..... But the match, wow

Amazing bravo to all who created that

Is that the end of John Cena as we know him

Makes you wonder how they've fallen so far with backstage angles and quality of storylines when they can pull off something like that.

    That was performance art.

More like Nightmare on Elm Street than a wrestling match.

I remember, as a child, watching an episode of Winnie the Pooh where Pooh-Bear has nightmares and terrifying hallucinations about Heffalumps and Woozles. That was the trippiest thing I ever saw on telly, so much so that even Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas couldn't beat it. Until tonight.

I still don’t like that this has gone ahead with all that’s going on the risk it poses to all those involved in running the show.

Having said that, they’ve done a truly phenomenal job at making the best of this WrestleMania with the hand they were dealt, including a lot of stuff they never would’ve gotten away with had the show gone on as planned.

Again, I don’t like that they’ve gone ahead with this, but it has to be appreciated for what it is.

**** it. I'm rewinding to watch that again immediately. I'll watch the Brock match later.

My favourite ever 15mins of wrestling. This has been an amazing mania. Considering the circumstances, it may be up there with the very best.

Jim Cornette will have alot of materiel for his next podcast anyway and I for one will enjoy listening to it

Only place someone should kick out of a finisher in WWE is at WM IMHO. Nice that in all his time in WWE, it's the first time someone kicked out of the Claymore.

I was hoping they'd keep the Claymore strong. It's a great finisher. But nope, instant kick-out.

    He's stuck in the 80's, a dinosaur.

Who gave these two unlimited finishers

    What's the Scottish for "Yurt!"?

Yes did that great especially with what went beforehand

Wasn't much of a match really. Why is every Brock match just becoming finisher spam now?
Glad Drew won all the same even if I would be happy for it to be in a stadium.

Just Slater to go now and that's a 3MB clean sweep at the title

I...did not expect it to end that quickly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,455 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Christ that was awful, at least it was short though.

Both of them can actually wrestle quite well, but all we get is the sum total of 4 different moves between them in the main event of WrestleMania? Nah, lazy stuff IMO.

The Cena and Fiend match should have main evented.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,800 ✭✭✭Always_Running

A surprise that Drew won and booked ridiculously strong in that match.

Finally at the top Drew McIntyre the choosing one

Sad it was in an empty arena as I'd say it would of got a massive pop in front of a live crowd

Overall really enjoyed this weekend, wwe hit it out of the park

Every WWE championship match is two minutes these days.

Starting to get really really really pissed off with it.

Need to have all the heavyweights like braun, lesnar, goldberg, Drew etc. for one title.

Let the other one for the good wrestlers.

Bravo WWE a fantastic wrestlemania considering the circumstances. Throughly entertained on both nights.

All in all, despite the circumstances I think it was a good Mania.

The Boneyard and Funhouse were unique, bizarre, fun experiences.

Handful of quality matches that overcame the lack of a crowd in Rollins/KO, the ladder match, Charlotte/Rhea and Orton/Edge.

A welcome distraction during this time.

I'd like if they explained the philosophy behind the finisher stuff in Brocks matches.

Like Brock doesn't like wasting time, he just wants to collect his Paycheck and be out of their asap so goes to his biggest move in his arsenal.

And the people he is up against knows that Brock is looking for a quick victory so they need to hit their best move over and over again until they keep him down
