    Doing a 1x build as a winter project on a road bike. Was looking at Sram CX1 as a good option. Any other options worth consideration??

    SRAM all the way

    Depends then if you are on a budget

    I paired a 2nd hand set of SRAM Red levers with a 40t chainring, 11-36 cassette and Apex long cage derailleur and it cost me about half the price of the groupset

    Yep groupset without brake calipers is almost €800
