I need to get a phone for a senior citizen and practical luddite.
She won't be using it for texting just reading texts, and calls.
She doesn't want a touch screen.
    Any suggestions please?

Any of the Doro range really, they're usually compatible with hearing aids also which is a plus.

I find Amazon usually have very decent prices, depending on the model.

Plus 1 for the Doro 6520, but stay away from the Doro 7060.. as its a smart featured phone, the text size is small.
Now he is back using the Doro 6520, as text size can be enlarged to huge size!
