I don’t know why you think there’s somehow higher standards for Biden? Trump has lowered the bar for everyone. It doesn’t matter what Biden says or does. I don’t see gaffes like that damaging his chances at all. If anything the fact that he apologised immediately makes him look far better than trump. When has trump ever apologised for anything?

He did a queer one with Stacey Abrams as well, had her and himself on a news show, she looked like she was going to get a marriage proposal, he just kept rambling and left her sitting there , she looked stunned.

This has been covered about 2 pages ago. The democrats lost the south when they introduced the civil rights act to end segregation.

Nixon filled that void with the southern strategy and the south has been red ever since.

If you’re going to read history, try reading more than a few quotes on Reddit.

if we take what you say at face value they have a choice between the Dems who have done nothing for them and the GOP who have campaigned to take their vote away from them. not great choices to be sure but quite a simple one for any black voter.

Lot of that is down to the 90% vote African Americans give Democrats.
