Then why is Andrew Cuomo in such a panic? Bear in mind, available ICU beds in Texas or Alaska are not much good to NYC. It’s hard to transport someone who’s already in critical condition without specialist transport and medics.

Maybe this was what Trump was talking about when he said there was a problem with "hoarding in hospitals". In the midst of this crisis with no data whatsoever that is what comes out of his mouth. He is a moron. A dreadful leader and a dispicable human being.

The press conference last night was just a scary incoherent rambling mess.

So Trump (and his fanboys and fangirls) keep (retrospectively) going on about his positive actions he took early on to stop the virus namely "the travel ban" and closing the borders between China and the US.

I genuinely just don't remember this being a big thing I.e. an announcement from the President that in order to stop the spread of the very serious covid 19 virus I'm closing the borders.
Instead what sticks out for me is his nonsensical warbling about it disappearing miraculously one day.

Did it happen as he/they said it happened?

I found this, which I believe to be an accurate picture based on what I witnessed and remember over the last month or so
    https://www.factcheck.org/2020/03/the-facts-on-trumps-travel-restrictions/

    It is a good read.

How is this possible that we are living in times where people (I.e. Trump, Fox tv and his fans) just make up stuff and present it as reality - in this case, waaaaaay overplaying what actually happened (the travel "ban") and way underplaying the disregard that Trump actually had for the seriousness of the situation ("one day it will just be gone, fifteen will be zero" yards yadda).

    How is this possible??!

One has to laugh at our biased media’s Orange Man Bad Disease and their coronavirus blame game. The media has spent recent weeks now blaming President Trump for this crisis. But they seem for have forgotten that the very same media and their Democrat overlords were the ones that were downplaying the coronavirus threat just a few weeks ago, on front page news, and 24/7 on TV at the likes of MSNBC and CNN.

Least they forget when Trump announced a ban on travel from China on January 31st our media condemned his order as a racist over-reaction. Joe Biden (the presumed idiotic democrat presidential candidate) said: “This is no time for Donald Trump’s record of hysteria and xenophobia — hysterical xenophobia — and fearmongering to lead the way instead of science.” And the day after Trump’s China travel ban was announced the media falsely claimed that Trump had made draconian cuts to federal health agencies. Dishonestly manipulating the narrative… Lovely people aren’t they? And the media has developed amnesia regarding stupid Democrat governors and mayor’s terrible responses to the crisis.

Remember such great headlines from the likes of Buzzfeed and The New York Times as “Don’t Worry About The Coronavirus, Worry About The Flu” and “Beware the Pandemic Panic?”

Now democrats are limiting Biden’s exposure to the public because he hasn’t a clue and just have him condemning everything Trump does is wrong rhetoric. His two live forums on COVID-19 were disastrous so we won’t be seeing much of him. And that is best... Let the grownup (Trump) deal with it. Trump is in a no-win situation and doing the best he can.

They often say all politics is local. I live in the eastern part of the state of Pennsylvania. A state that was key in getting Trump elected in 2016 and will be key again in 2020. What will we remember? We’ll remember Trump doing what he could and attempting to balance individual safety and attempting to avoid economic Armageddon.

But we will remember our idiot governor Wolf’s actions. He closed down all non-live sustaining businesses under threat of a $5,000 fine, loss of license, and jail time. But he wants those businesses to keep paying their bills as best the could and doing everything they can to keep unemployed employees paychecks coming. Earth to governor Wolf… How can we do that if we are completely shut down and not allowed to enter the premises? Now he has ordered ‘Stay at Home’ edict to many densely populated eastern Pennsylvania counties and you can be fined $500 if you are out and not engaging is life-sustaining activities or have a letter from your employer with you that you work for one of the exempt businesses. Also, many laid-off employees have signed up for unemployment benefits but the state didn’t prepare for Wolf’s order and can’t accommodate the numbers of people singing up for benefits and will miss their allotted time to report lost wages because the state hasn’t provided them with the necessary tools. In addition many employers have read the shut down rules and have applies for exemptions. Due you think Wolf would prioritize the requests? Of course not. It’s been over a week and just about nobody has heard anything regarding their requests. So bottom line we’ll remember our governor acting like some king and making edicts but providing nothing for people to deal with the economic hardships he has imposed.

So nobody in our section of the state can be on the roads without proper need, but our governor hasn't limited people escaping from the epicenter of the coronavirus problem in the northeast (New York and New Jersey) and bringing COVID-19 into our state with them. I saw more cares from NY & NJ on the highway than cars from PA this morning. Our governor needs to be impeached!

Tara Reade, people! Remember when Joe Biden said he believed all women regarding sexual assaults? Remember when the media claimed it was their absolute duty to provide nonstop coverage of the unfounded and ridiculous sexual assault charges against SCOTUS nominee Kavanaugh? Hmmmm.... Seems with the sexual assault allegation against Joe Biden by a former staffer that has emerged, he and his media handmaidens have forgotten everything.

    Cuomo for President I say!

And Trump is a prize idiot too. No getting away from it. But I would say that wouldn't I?

That's because I have brain, am not a sycophant, and can recognise a total lack of leadership talent when I see it.

Pity the Dems didn't see Cuomo either, but maybe he couldn't be bothered.

Cuomo? The guy singing Trump’s praises after realizing Trump is the only adult in the room?
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo praised the Trump administration’s efforts to handle the coronavirus outbreak on Tuesday, after initially criticizing the federal government’s response as “absurd and nonsensical.”

“His team is on it. They’ve been responsive,” Cuomo said at a press conference. “I want to say thank you.”

The Democratic governor said that he spoke to Trump on Tuesday and that the president is “100 percent sincere” in his desire to work with the state to control the virus outbreak, which has mushroomed in the U.S. over the past week.

The administration is “ready and willing to help,” Cuomo said, “especially on the hospital capacity issue.”

The governor emphasized that the New York state government “cannot meet this crisis without the resources … of the federal government.”

Earlier this month, Cuomo slammed the administration’s response as the result of “bad government and poor planning,” adding that it will “increase the fear” surrounding the coronavirus outbreak, which the World Health Organization has dubbed a pandemic.

I read a great article in a magazine recently about the cohort of people who are "Republican but not Trump". It's an interesting read.

I think there are going to be interesting results in a November.

I think a lot of people don't like having a man with the brain and vocabulary of a five year old in charge.

Watched the trump briefing last night, the man is a self serving moron and anyone who respects him is a f***ing imbecile.

    Simple enough.

Ah jaysis. Seriously. Watch about 2 minutes of anything the eejit (Trump) speaks at. He's a train wreck. There is no great editing needed: just record a sentence he speaks and then show it. Even the stuff Fox airs shows him as the eejit he is. It's not difficult! He is a moron.

Pretty sure he doesn't believe that, more impersonating how many of responses go.

They're called Never-Trumpers. Less and less of them these days, except for Romney and RINOs, because Trump has proven he governs mostly as a conservative.

So about half of Americans are imbeciles? That's a rather f***ing imbecilic thing to say.

It’s not just me, plenty of people in the media not controlled by the DNC seem to think something is seriously wrong with Joe Biden. And almost daily now evidence keeps mounting that Biden is not even remotely equipped to run for president. His mind is declining and I'm surprised you can't bring yourself to see the obvious.

It’s quite sad. You'd think his family would want to put a stop to all of this.

Did you know a coronavirus cure will make the problem worse?

Need more? I got a million of them... well probably closer to like a thousand for Biden.

Aye, nuts that the left have been saying Trump has dementia for years but yet are silent on Biden's obvious cognitive decline.

It's funny, and not in a good way, that Trump supporters criticise Biden for a) corruption b) his cognitive abilities and c) being "creepy", when Trump himself is far worse in all three categories.
