    The limits on promotion of nazism is a minor enough player in this. And to be fair, it's not like Germans still have a debate to be had about the benefits of nazism. They took the ideology pretty far and the results were conclusive - nazism was a bad ideology.


    Education is the bigger player here and if you speak to any German, you can tell that they won't be forgetting their history any time soon. Contrast that with the Japanese, who actually have plenty of loser-statues as it happens, and you can tell that the Germans are doing something right in remembering history.

    Trump has him over a barrel. Apparently* he has a penchant for male escorts that’s an open secret in DC. If that’s leaked to his home audience, he’s gone.

    Whether he’s gay or not, doesn’t matter a damn to me. So I don’t see this as a slur. Many in his own party would though.

    I've found playing of videos a tough thing to conquer and is a pain as I can't comment on them. I do the majority of video watching on my phone, but posting from a phone is even more of a PITA, especially from someone with sausage fingers. I don't even know how to switch the setting on the phone in order to do a selfie. :mad:

    It seems Bunker Don is gong ahead with his Tulsa rally despite an appeal to the contrary by Tulsa's top medical officer who has expressed concern for the welfare of the Trumpet himself among others, suggesting it might be wiser to hold it at another time.

    According to reports, (Irish Times today,) rally attendees will have to sign a waiver saying they will not hold the Trump campaign responsible if they contract Covid-19.

    If I watch a video on the phone and want to post it here what I often do is hit the share button and send it to my email. Then later on the pc open my email, copy the link, and paste it here. My stuff is worth the extra time and effort... Yours, not so much.

    New Gallup poll shows pride in America is lowest it has been in 20 years - and compared to last year shows that decline is coming largely from Republicans (presumably Democrats and independents were already feeling dour last year when Robert Muellers report was the major topic).
