Yess.. because providing an email address on a website is exactly the same as getting added to the electoral register and voting

Nope where did I say it was. I said it shows what is possible

According to reporting, the Trump team were aware that a substantial number of requests would be no-shows but still put their candidate in a position to humiliate himself. That is incompetence in my view.

I was under the impression you'd take a stab at substantiating your own arguments? You claimed that this ticketing fiasco bolsters Trump's argument against vote by mail. That appears to be nonsensical and seemingly you agree since you can't show how the two are similar. I can see from the other Trump threads that you're having similar trouble making a coherent argument there aswell, so I wont hold my breath.

It's not a ticketing fiasco. It's was deliberate manipulation. How does it not bolster his claims?

so trump couldn't get 20,000 genuine supporters to register and attend in a state he won by a wide margin? that's pathetic and all down to trump.

Was Joe Biden stopping the police? No. So there is no comparison. You just want a bit of whataboutery to distract from a disastrous night for Trump.

This is a place the Democrats are actively encouraging. And it's devolved into complete chaos in the space of two weeks.

The trial of socialism went exactly as Trump predicted.

I think we're seeing another meltdown of an #IMPOTUS follower, soon to be 'done with this thread' and scarper off to contemplate how his ghod could have such lead-booted feet of clay.

Much like the Brexiteers in the brexit threads (rembmer Solo?), they go away hopefully having realized that yeah, they were wrong all the time.

Where did I say the Democrats are Socialist's. I said they encouraged it. Please read if you're going to comment.

Let's see what the Democrat mayor of Seattle had to say,

If you're using a hashtag like that and think it's funny and edgy, you shouldn't be allowed post on any thread.

Come on over to the CHOP thread and see how that's going if you'd like.

Oh so is the CHOP thread the new place where the Trumpians who ragequit/got banned from here migrated to? Wouldn't have thought Trumps diehards would support migration.

I don't believe Democrats are "actively encouraging" it. I am pretty sure Joe Biden isn't.

I know 100% sure that Joe Biden is not a socialist.

So the comparison does not stand up.

Jesus, what a disaster for Donnie. But that's to be expected when you are a walking disaster. Anyone trying to defend that car crash has left reality behind and is viewing the world in High Definition Trump-O-Vision. Nothing is going bring them back.

How is people buying the tickets and then not showing up fraudulent in a legal sense?

There isn't even any proof this happened, we only have Trumps word that a million wanted to go. If people got tickets a day didn't show up to the main rally then why was the overflow area also empty :D

"Ticketing fiasco" was the term you used.

It doesn't bolster his claims because as has been pointed out to you repeatedly, the process for getting a free ticket to a rally and the process for voting in an election are not the same thing.

I suspect this is all an amateurish effort on your part to distract from the explosive admission that Trump tried to reduce the numbers being tested, resulting in the deaths of thousands of people.

Overall last night was a decent night for Trump.

    1) The ticketing fiasco, which to be fair was genius, completely undermined the mail in ballot argument.
    2) A person bled out on the streets in Seattle as the ambulance wouldn't enter CHOP without police support.
    3) Cancel culture began to eat in itself with liberal Yale graduates trying to defend their school being named after a slave trader.

The hypocrisy from all 3 examples would not play well with centrist voters.

I'd say the centrist voter will be more focused on the totally inept response to Covid 19, the totally inept response to the murder of George Floyd and the myriad of lies that come from the presidents mouth daily.

Tulsa Rally is packed with thousands of Happy Americans who support President

    A. Clearly it wasn't "packed"

    B. They may not be so happy in 7-14 days time.

Joe Biden does not know what he is and until he does the Democrats don't have a platform that sufficient American voters can buy into. At the moment all the Trump hoopla is political theatre, it keeps us all entertained, but do so they have nothing substantive to offer the voter, "vote Trump out" does nothing for any potential voters because they have to live with the choice.

Trump for the most part has not been able to interfere in peoples lives, that's not from want of trying, he has been blocked at almost every turn. The Green New Deal or Great Reset as it has been labelled by the Davos crowd, IMF and EU is promising a "cultural revolution" and is direct interference in our lives.

Ultimately American voters may decide better the devil they know. If you want to see Trump beaten you have to explain what "Sleepy Joe" is going to bring about for his American voters during his term, if elected. It is clear Biden is no Obama or Clinton (Bill) he has no popular appeal even within his own base he is just an empty suit as many US presidents tend to be..

Net Zero means we are paying for the destruction of our economy and society in pursuit of an unachievable and pointless policy.

I see Biden is gone to 4/6, Trump gone out to 11/8.

We had a few on here claiming to throw money at Trump at very short odds.

Should have hung on, they were so so confident.

I've replied earlier that the mayor of Seattle was encouraging it. She's a democrat. I know Joe Biden is not a socialist. I've never said he was a socialist.

The complete breakdown of an area parroted as some sort of utopia for what America could be without police interference is the point at hand.

If people are that confident, and with the recent polls surely people on here should be pounding the 4/6 with all they have.

Was there a limited number of tickets which meant that people who genuinely wanted to go couldn't get their hands on one as they'd been reserved by people who just wanted to troll Trump?

Or was it just a system where people just say they want to attend and there aren't really any tickets as such?

If it's the latter, people who wanted to attend would still have been able to, although some might have been put off by the huge numbers that appeared to be heading to the city/venue.
